Idioms of the Month

English idioms are a great way to make your English sound more interesting. Idioms usually have a meaning that is not related to the words that make them. The BCKPS English team will introduce a new idiom monthly in our morning assembly. This month, we have shared this idiom:

‘As cool as a cucumber’

This idiom is not about food! ‘Cool’ has many meanings, and one of them is to stay calm and relaxed. For example, “Andy is always as cool as a cucumber in exams, because he studies very hard.”
